Mr. Silverman attended the The Pinball
Expo in Chicago. It was an exceptionally good
time; meeting many old friends and making many new acquaintances.
He was fortunate to have time to spend with Allen
Tate, Michael Shalhoub, and Lee Fenwick, “The Australian
Contingent”. These men are working on a pinball museum in Australia.
David and these fellows have been corresponding for years and have now
had time to meet and discuss their respective projects. According to Silverman,
“Both our groups are struggling to garner needed capital to continue
our progress on the museum projects.”
Did you know that the first pinball machines used bats instead
of flippers?
