INTERACTIVE EXHIBITS

NPM is a hands-on museum.
When we open in our new facility this fall visitors will be able to experience our permanent exhibit on the history of pinball and machines from every era on display in our main gallery. True pinball and art enthusiasts will want return to the museum frequently to see our rotating featured exhibits that showcase pinball artists, themes and eras, or track social or historical trends in Pinball technology. Purchasing an Annual Pass will ensure that you receive advance notice of all NPM events, as well as unlimited admission to the museum for a full year.

PERMANENT "HISTORY OF PINBALL" EXHIBIT

This exhibit takes visitors on a journey from Bagatelle (the 18th Century precursor to pinball) through to modern day computerized marvels. Along the way, visitors will learn about the rich 140 year history of pinball, artists, and the events and pop culture captured in machines of every era.

"how it works" exhibit
This exhibit takes visitors deep inside—under the skin—of the pinball machine. It includes:
  • Fully interactive components that demonstrate the behind-the-scenes action of flippers, bumpers, spinners, kick-outs and like mechanical features.
  • Explanations of schematics and diagrams
  • The secrets behind the silkscreen and cabinetry techniques that go into every pinball machine.
TRAVELING exhibitS

NPMs traveling exhibits allow children and adults who may not be able to visit us in person to further their knowledge and appreciation of pinball. NPM offers small and mid-sized “mini-museums on-the-go” for exhibit at schools, organizations, businesses and other museums across the country. These traveling exhibits educate visitors not just on the featured machines, but also on the historical significance of the machines, artists, subjects and eras.
